As I travel around the country, conducting seminars, most of the time, the subject of eschatology (a study of "last things") comes up. Usually, the majority of time is spent on that study, as there has been so much teaching on the radio, TV, newspapers, magazines, mail-outs, the internet, as well as in home bible studies and in "church services."

It is not my intent to have Beyond The End Times Ministry deal with the subject of realized eschatology. Suffice it to say here, that having studied the bible for many years (I am 70 years old), that I have come to understand that the bible teaches that the "end times" happened in the first century, AD, and contrary to popular belief, are not in our future. If you desire to study about "the last days" of the bible, please go to my other web site – www.eschatologyreview.com

As we discuss this subject in our dialog seminars (I don’t lecture, we talk with the groups), and people begin to understand that the "end times" happened almost 2,000 years ago, invariably, I am asked one question: "If that is true, what about us today?"

Well, what about us today?

Speaking of the last days or end times, Daniel said:

…until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed THE KINGDOM [Daniel 7:22].

So, what about us today?

We are in the kingdom of God today. The kingdom (Gr. basileia) or reign of God is unseen. Jesus said:

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you [Mat. 12:28].

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! For, behold, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU [Luke 17:20,21].

So, as we pursue thoughts concerning our relationship with the kingdom or reign (basileia) of God today, we must look to things that are unseen.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are NOT SEEN: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are NOT SEEN ARE ETERNAL [2 Cor. 4:18].

Therefore, on this web site, we will be looking at things that pertain to God reigning over us in His unseen kingdom. So, we will be looking at things that are unseen.

Today’s religious world is made up of seen things, like church buildings, song books, preachers, money, etc. We are not going to go that direction, for "seen things are temporary."

We should desire something more stable than temporary things. So, our focus in all of the articles that follow, will be looking primarily at the unseen things that are eternal.

The kingdom has been given to the saints. It is eternal. It is unseen. So, let us look at the unseen things of the kingdom of heaven. These are the things that endure after AD 70. Again, if you desire to study eschatology (a study of "last things) first, then go to my other website. www.eschatologyreview.com

If you stayed with me, you can now go to Read This Second, which will begin our search of the kingdom within us, which cannot be seen. Let us begin the journey and take one step at a time. May YHVH bless you in your studies.
